Welcome to Sumek Dance!
At Sumek Dance, we made it a goal to build a fun, welcoming environment for dancers in different styles. What we teach is rooted deeply in traditional approaches to the vintage styles, and occasionally we experiment with adapting these concepts to modern music.
Our teachers all emphasize strong fundamental technique, and continually explore the boundaries of creative expression through improvisation. It is also part of our goal to provide a family-friendly environment that allows dancers of different ages, backgrounds and experience to have a place to learn and dance. Class and practice sessions are offered most nights, which is a really fun chance to meet new people, form friendships and develop a sense of camaraderie among fellow dancers, beginner and experienced alike. We invite you to take a journey with us and explore the world of dance. |
